Newspring Family Church is a growing contemporary body of believers located in Jenks, Oklahoma. With more than 650 adherents, Newspring is a vibrant community of faith with a dedication to reach the community of Jenks and the greater Tulsa metro area. Newspring Family Church is affiliated with the Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God and the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
While affiliated with the Assemblies of God, Newspring has members and adherents from all denominational backgrounds. People from all walks of life have found a home at Newspring. The church has three primary meetings per week. The Sunday morning services are a fast paced celebration of corporate worship, prayer, fellowship, and biblical preaching. Beginning with a time of contemporary praise and worship, services at Newspring are marked by a distinct presence of God. From the beginning of the first note of praise and worship, it is clear why we have gathered. Following praise and worship is a time of prayer when various needs are mentioned and an opportunity to receive prayer is extended. A relevant biblical message concludes the service and is sure to be filled with humor, emotion, and a challenge for all attending. Sunday evening services are generally similar to the Sunday morning worship services. However, the evening service may be used for varying types of services or activities. This is a great time to receive in-depth biblical teaching. Also, the last Sunday of every month is an all-church fellowship known as a Connect Night.
Wednesday Evenings are an exciting time at Newspring. Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the church is literally bursting with activity. Children's programs such as Royal Rangers and Missionettes meet in their respective areas and FLOOD Student Ministries meets in the youth cafe and fellowship hall. The Celebration Choir practices in the choir room and an adult Bible study led by Pastor Greg meets in the Worship Center.
